Virtual Events

Makar To Makar - Thursday 28th May 7pm

We are thrilled to have been chosen by the wonderful Gerda Stevenson as her favourite bookshop and included in this fantastic project.

With the closing of literary festivals around the world, Jackie Kay was inspired to curate an online festival showcasing established talent and exciting new voices in poetry and performance.

You can watch it live and free every Thursday evening at 7pm. Next week Gerda Stevenson is performing, just go to the website here to stream the event live.

We have Gerda's books in stock, just email or phone to order.

A huge thanks to Gerda for supporting us and we hope you can tune in and enjoy it as much as we do.
