Following on from his incredibly popular 'Historical Guide to Biggar High Street' Jim Ness has produced this brilliant guide to the areas beyond the High Street. It describes the oldest parts of town and follows its development through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Full of photographic and cartographic heritage as well as stories from some outstanding inhabitants.
